Snow plowing can be difficult when first starting out especially for new plowers. Many people plow in different ways that they feel comfortable and they feel efficient when they are plowing snow. Here are some tips and tricks to plowing snow.
1. Identify the amount of snow

Identifying the amount of snow is also important because it’s heavy and hard to push a lot of snow at once.
2. The very first few plow paths you make should be where the most activity is occurring. Rather it’s in lanes where cars are traveling or a lot of people are walking. You should then start by pushing and angling the snow away from curbs and side walks.
3. Plow angling is very important because you have to know where to push the snow so it’s getting move correctly and so people can still walk and drive through it. You angle you’re plow and push the snow away from all cars and in the middle of isles. Then you will want to push the snow that is in the isles straight and non stop so it’s not in way of cars and people walking.
4. After you have cleared up the isles you should then push the snow by curbs and snow banks but not pushing the snow in the banks or over curbs. It will take more time to back up go forward and keep moving the plows.
5. You now will want to push the snow in the snow banks and not really over the curbs because you will probably be hitting them a lot and that’s bad for plow lip and the trucks plow frame.
